End of the Year Elephant & Piggie Party!

To celebrate on the last day of school, we had an Elephant and Piggie party that the class helped plan. We decorated cookies, the kids read their own Elephant and Piggie books that they wrote and illustrated, we played pin the tail on Elephant & Piggie, and did Reader’s Theatre with puppets. It was a great ending to a fun year!

The handprints came out pretty great for most of the kids. I wish I had gotten more pictures of the finished products but here is a great example from Sofia.
